"Best Of Summerlin" 2015 Open For Nominations
Summerlin®, Las Vegas’ largest master-planned community, a development of The Howard Hughes Corporation® (HHC), launched its 2015 Best of Summerlin recognition competition on Sept. 2. A fun and interactive way to showcase Summerlin’s robust amenities and premier lifestyle, this fun, online poll has become a popular way to celebrate Summerlin icons, landmark places and popular venues.
Through Sept. 18, community and valley residents can nominate their favorite Summerlin restaurants, parks and businesses for categories including Best Locally-Owned Restaurant, Best Community Event, Best Golf Course and Best School Spirit. In total there are 12 categories.
“We look forward to this annual competition because it gives residents an opportunity to tell us what they appreciate most about Summerlin,” said Danielle Bisterfeldt, director of marketing, Summerlin. “While there are special places and restaurants that are fan favorites year after year, we always learn something new about our community from this competition.”
Nominations can be made at www.summerlin.com. Anyone can submit nominations but all locations must be within the Summerlin community borders for consideration. Finalists will be announced Monday, Sept. 21, followed by online voting through Oct. 9. This year’s Best of Summerlin winners will be announced at the Summerlin Festival of Arts, Oct. 10 and 11, in Downtown Summerlin®.
Join Summerlin on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates and to follow The Adventures of Summerlin Sam as the community’s jackrabbit mascot visits each finalist and features them on Summerlin social media.
