Why DTS for Marufuku’s second Las Vegas location?

Downtown Summerlin felt like the natural next step for Marufuku in Las Vegas. The community is vibrant, family-friendly, and food-forward — exactly the type of neighborhood that aligns with our brand. After the success of our first location, we wanted to bring Marufuku to a place where guests could enjoy high-quality ramen, great energy, and a true dining experience, all in one of the most dynamic areas of the city.

Must try menu item?

Our Hakata Tonkotsu DX is the heart of Marufuku Ramen. The pork-based broth is simmered for over 14 hours to create a rich, creamy, and deeply flavorful soup. The dish is served with Hakata style thin noodles, sliced pork chashu, a thick piece of braised pork belly, kikurage mushroom, bean sprouts, green onion, and ginger. Our Hakata Tonkotsu DX is what we’re known for nationwide and is the dish that turns first-time guests into regulars.

What makes Marufuku special?

Marufuku stands out because of our obsessive attention to detail. From our slow-simmered broths and handcrafted noodles to our curated menu and warm hospitality, everything is intentional. We blend traditional Japanese techniques with a modern dining experience — creating something that feels elevated, yet welcoming.

When not working, where is your go-to at DTS to shop/dine?

It really feels like a second home for me. When I’m not working, I love to walk around Downtown Summerlin, grabbing coffee at Makers and Finders, doing a little shopping, and supporting the other local restaurants with my husband and baby. There’s always something happening, whether it’s live music, events, or just families and friends spending time together. It’s one of the few places in Las Vegas that truly feels like a community gathering space, which makes being here even more special for me and my family.

Tell us more about the Kushiyaki offerings at DTS?

Our Kushiyaki menu adds a whole new layer to the Marufuku experience at Downtown Summerlin. These Japanese-style grilled skewers are cooked over an open flame, allowing each item to develop a smoky, charred flavor while staying juicy and tender. The menu includes favorites like chicken thigh, chicken breast, pork belly, beef steak, and vegetables, all finished with savory sauces. They’re perfect for sharing, pairing with drinks, or enjoying before your ramen — turning a quick meal into a relaxed, social dining experience.

For someone not familiar with ramen, what would you encourage them to
order/try?

We always recommend starting with something rich and comforting, like our Hakata Tonkotsu DX or Chicken Paitan DX. These broths are slow-simmered for hours and are designed to be creamy, flavorful, and approachable for first-time guests. Pairing your ramen with a kushiyaki skewer, gyoza, or another small bite makes the experience even more fun and shareable. Ramen is meant to be enjoyed slowly, with friends, and with curiosity — once you try it, you’ll understand why it’s such a beloved comfort food around the world.

To complete the experience, we encourage guests to explore our Japanese-inspired cocktail menu, along with our curated Japanese whisky collection. We also offer a wide variety of sake and beers that are approachable, flavorful, and specifically chosen to pair beautifully with our food. Whether you’re new to ramen or already a fan, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at Marufuku.
