450 acres on the southernmost tip of Summerlin, The Cliffs will be home to 11 neighborhoods of up to 1,700 single- and multi-family homes. Embracing the base of the Spring Mountains, this community is named for the stony ridgeline that forms its backdrop. Here, the sloping topography demands rugged contemporary architecture to blend with the surrounding desert. Many neighborhoods are specifically terraced to boast unobstructed views of the mountains and valley, and parcels of land have also been set aside to remain beautifully undeveloped. Small parks and long walking paths with elevated overlook rest stops wind throughout, connecting the Summerlin Trail System.
The village is home to Faiss Middle School, Wet ‘n’ Wild water park and Faiss Community Park & Aquatic Center, and adjacent to Bishop Gorman High School, a private Catholic college preparatory school.
