The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is the newest fast casual eatery that now calls DTS home. Boasting an assortment of timeless flavors and legendary service, the traditional family recipes and classics including tzatziki, hummus, dolmades, gyros and more are a perfect stop to enjoy a quick bite out.

Here to share more about the must-visit location are co-owners Nick A. Della Penna, COO and CO-CEO and Trent R. Jones, CFO and CO-CEO.

Q: Why DTS for the next Great Greek location?

We feel that DTS is the centrally located lifestyle center of Summerlin and the synergy of our healthy concept is perfect for a power lunch, after work dinner, or a weekend outing.

Q: What’s unique and different about your restaurant?

We bridge the gap between fast casual convenience and full-service quality. Guests can enjoy chef-driven Greek and Mediterranean dishes — freshly grilled meats, house-made dips, and vibrant salads — all prepared with real ingredients and served quickly, in an atmosphere that feels upscale but comfortable.

Q: Favorite food item from the menu?

Trent – My personal favorite is the Salmon Rice Bowl, it’s fresh, healthy and flavorful and the salmon is grilled perfectly.  Nick – I absolutely love the Athenian Burger.  It incorporates the traditional Greek flavors with the classic American burger.  For burger enthusiasts, it’s a must try.

Q: For someone who has never experienced your restaurant, what would you tell them?

I’d tell them that The Great Greek is all about fresh, flavorful food and genuine hospitality. From the moment you walk in, you can smell the grill, feel the warmth, and taste the difference in every bite.

Our food is made from scratch every day — from our hand-marinated souvlaki and house-made tzatziki to our fresh salads and warm pita. You’ll taste real Mediterranean flavors prepared with care, served fast, and enjoyed in a space that feels both casual and special.

Q: When not working, where is your go-to spot at DTS to enjoy?

Trent – My go-to spot would be Nordstrom Rack or grabbing dinner at Jing.  Nick – You will find me at the Farmers Market at least every other Saturday, if not more frequent than that.  I also enjoy a nice bottle of wine and a great meal at Grape Street.

Q: Any seasonal favorites or additions planned?

We have some amazing seasonal specials.  The Santorini Shrimp with Orzo is available now through the end of November.  For December and January we’ll be bringing back the popular Saganaki Burger.
