There’s lots that new at the Summerlin Festival of Arts this year in addition to the Festival’s growth from two to three days!

This year, several young artists from neighboring schools including participants from Bishop Gorman High School, The Meadows School, Alexander Dawson, Faith Lutheran Robotics, and Doral Academy Red Rock will have a chance to demonstrate their superb artistic ability. A full line-up of appearances and demonstrations are scheduled both Saturday and Sunday, featuring Summerlin’s own emerging artists who are already starting to make a name for themselves in a variety of disciplines – from ceramics, illustration, drawing, painting, mixed media and more.

Don’t miss the chance to see Summerlin’s budding artists and the opportunity to support and encourage their continuing pursuit of the arts! Check Summerlin.com for Festival details, including the schedule of student art appearances and demonstrations.

Also on Saturday & Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm, the UNLV Engineering School and Nevada Association of Land Surveyors will host interactive demonstrations and hands-on science activities for kids!
