Q: You’ve had quite the tenure and story from your roots in Morocco and moving to America at 16 pursuing a dream — what made you want to start the Crazy Pita business?

A: Crazy Pita was born because of the need for good flavorful gourmet style mediterranean cuisine in a familiar setting. The food is crafted to cater to all demographics at any time of the day. A variety of pita sandwiches and salads are ideal for lunch and Skewers plates and Rotisserie Chicken to accommodate the need of the busy professionals and family dinners.

Q: You have three locations in Las Vegas — why DTS for this location?

A: 10 years ago, Crazy pita was the first restaurant to open in Downtown Summerlin and the third lease signed along with Macy’s and Dillard’s. The location is strategically located to cater to this newly developed Summerlin community. Crazy Pita is well positioned to be part of the next decades to witness the new transformation of this community. As the trends change, we are proud to lead the future of hospitality with our delicious offerings.

Q: What’s your favorite item on the menu?

A: The Mix Grill of Chicken and Steak Skewers with Hummus, salad and Vegetable Couscous and Pita Bread.

Q: Lamb vs. Chicken? Why?

A: Lamb, I grew up on a farm where and it was an affair most of the days.

Q: Biggest tip for someone who hasn’t been to your restaurant?

A: Be ready to set a budget for me. You will become my guest for life.

Q: When not at Crazy Pita, where is your go-to at DTS?

A: True Food Kitchen is one of my favorite places, I enjoy the food and the atmosphere.

Q: Let’s talk kids. Do you offer anything specific for kids on the menu?

A: The new kid’s bowls are very accommodating to kids and adult snacks. Healthy with a bit of Nutella guilt.

Q: What’s next for you?

A: We are gearing up for a transformation. The new store design coming in 2025 and will reflect and mirror the center’s modern look and design and will set the tone of our global growth strategy.

Q: Biggest inspiration that keeps you motivated and working hard? A: My obligation is to my family and my employees. They keep me on my toes all the time. I work hard to make sure they succeed in life, thrive and prosper. I managed to do it for 18 years and will continue to do the same and more in years to come.
