The holidays may be over, but the New Year celebration and commitments to our resolutions will remain intact….hopefully! National Green Juice Day is an annual celebration that takes place on January 26. It was established to encourage people to stick to their health and wellness resolutions by drinking a green juice and staying healthy.
Ready for a little history on the newly found health day? After finding that more than 50 percent of Americans break their New Year’s resolutions by the end of January, Evolution Fresh founded National Green Juice Day in 2016 to empower people to press ahead with their wellness resolutions by drinking some green goodness.
Here’s how you can partake:
- Indulge in a delish green juice. Tasty options include The Greenie and Green Apple Detox from Nektar Juice Bar and Kale Aid from True Food Kitchen
- Juice at home! Here’s a simple recipe that’s delish!
