Unlike its name, Nittaya’s Secret Kitchen is hardly a secret. Located on the corner of Rampart and W. Lake Mead, this uber-popular, highly-rated Thai restaurant which opened in 2010, is the brainchild of Nittaya Parawong, owner and chef, who lovingly prepares her family recipes from her homeland of Thailand. Nittaya offers an extraordinary presentation of Asian cuisine, served tapas style using fresh seasonal produce and carefully selected regional products.

A white bowl filled with Thai red curry topped with sliced herbs, red bell pepper pieces, and a drizzle of coconut milk, set on a wooden surface.

In 2018, Nittaya opened Block 9 Eats just off the 215 Beltway at Town Center Drive to bring the vibrant and diverse flavors of Thai Street food to Summerlin. Inspired by the bustling streets of Thailand, Block 9 easily transports diners to the heart of Bangkok’s lively food scene. Chef Nittaya learned her love for this fresh fare in her native city of Bangkok, where the most delectable food is served from push cart vendors in gathering spots.

Slices of medium-rare grilled steak topped with fresh cilantro, served on a cast iron plate with a small metal cup of salsa on the side.

A resident of Summerlin, Nittaya wanted to put down roots in her home community, and along the way, has made Summerlin synonymous with delicious, authentic and fresh Thai food.

Nittaya’s favorite dish to prepare and eat?  The papaya salad!
