Las Vegas native and Summerlin resident Bethany Paige Taylor considers herself lucky. She found her life’s passion for photography in high school – a passion that she turned into her career.

At the tender age of 16, she began working for a family friend who was a photographer, switching out her cheer uniform for discreet black pants and shirt to shoot weddings on weekends. By 18, she had already established her business – Bethany Paige Photography.

In lieu of college, Bethany attended photography workshops all over the country, studied the work of her favorite photographers, and tuned into seminars on how to run her own business, all while building a strong clientele and book of business.

First introduced to many professional athletes at the 2019 Battle for Vegas, the community’s popular charity softball game, Bethany began shooting for several Vegas Golden Knights – everything from weddings and baby showers to family photos and personal events. “Building personal relationships with my clients is at the core of my business,” said Bethany. “I consider it a privilege to document many of their most important moments, and I am always honored to work with amazing families in our community.”

Bethany and husband, Cody, recently moved to Summerlin with their Golden Retriever, Leica. When not walking Leica at Gardens Park, Bethany and Cody enjoy dining at Fine Company, True Food Kitchen, and Mothership Coffee Roasters at Downtown Summerlin.

“It’s a dream to live in Summerlin, a community that is in part, responsible for the growth of my business,” said Bethany. “I’ve photographed many wonderful events at Downtown Summerlin – from parades, concerts, festivals, and celebrations. Living and working in Summerlin a full circle moment that is not lost on me!”
