Ciara Nackino, Vice President of Development for Summerlin, is one of the leaders of the vertical development team that oversees office and other high-rise projects. Nackino, a 15-year industry veteran who moved to Las Vegas from The Howard Hughes Corporation’s New York City office in 2021, has happily traded her Big Apple office address for Summerlin, where she also lives with her family.
Also on the vertical development team are Peter Lee, Senior Accounting Manager and Jenae Bruce, Senior Accountant. Together, the team is celebrating the opening of 1700 Pavilion, a ten-story Class-A office building in Downtown Summerlin.

What do you love most about your job: “I love building in the community in which I reside,” said Nackino. “Changing the skyline of Summerlin in a way that is smart, sustainable, strategic and beautiful is a challenge I welcome every day. Creating a more urban and walkable, amenitized community inspires me and my team every day.”
Most Proud Accomplishment: “1700 Pavilion is nearly 51 percent leased, with another 40 percent of the space in lease negotiation, well ahead of schedule. That is incredibly gratifying.”
Favorite part of Summerlin: “As a busy mother, I appreciate the fact that it’s easy to run errands and get around the community. Everything is here, and Summerlin is a lovely, easy place to live.”
Personal fun facts: “I love to golf and enjoy taking my daughter to the myriad of events in Downtown Summerlin – parades, farmers markets, pop-up shops, etc. I also enjoy hiking the Red Rocks. I’ve worked on a number of Habitat for Humanity homes throughout the years and look forward to getting involved with that group in Las Vegas.”

Personal fun facts: “I am a proud Korean-American, and I love baseball.”

What do you love most about your job: “As the company bill-payer, I keep close tabs on things, and I love working with project managers as developments like 1700 Pavilion come to fruition.”
Fun fact about Summerlin: “Summerlin is the most recognized community that people from all over the country ask me about when I say I live in Las Vegas.”
Favorite part of Summerlin: “I love the events on The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin, and I am a big fan of the Nike store!”
Personal fun facts: “I am a brand-new granny! I love to ride my motorcycle and roller skate. As a Black woman, I celebrate all cultures. My favorite charities are St. Jude’s and Junior Blind Institute.”
