In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, we wanted to give you an inside look behind a local brand that’s family owned and operated. Meet the Molina family.
Josh Molina, Son
Josh is a proud first-generation Colombian American who has visited top coffee counties including Colombia, Peru and Brazil to gain countless knowledge in specialty coffee. A UNLV graduate, Josh opened the first Makers & Finders in 2014 at the age of 25. Downtown Summerlin is the brand’s second location that opened in 2017.

Martha Molina, Mom
Martha immigrated from Colombia to NYC in the early 80’s. She quickly learned English and enrolled herself in continuing education. She specialized in Human Resources & ER Administration for 35+ years and spent 19 years at UMC Hospital in Las Vegas. She retired in 2017 to join Makers & Finders full-time as a managing partner.
If you haven’t visited Makers & Finders at Downtown Summerlin, you need to. Stop in for a perfect cup of joe or indulge in one of many delicious and family-inspired menu items including the empanadas. Perfection.
